This evening Grandpa Jere decided we should all go to the lake for a picnic. We packed up and headed out. First priority? Throwing rocks, of course!
Before we had time to eat, a good ole Colorado thunderstorm came up! No picnic for us. We had to pack up and leave the lake.
Never fear. Grandma Lou had a plan! She made her garage into a picnic. We had a wonderful time listening to the rain while eating our picnic food. Good thinking, Grandma Lou!
