Safari Fun

The safari was great! There were lots and lots of animals. Aunt Tammy got to hold a baby bear, pet a kangaroo (complete with a joey in her pouch), and snuggle a baby goat (which is called a "kid" just like I'm called a "kid").

But something really silly happened while we were at the safari. Before we left, my Mommy and Dad put Norah in the car; they forgot that Norah might not be allowed in the safari. When we arrived at the safari, Mommy covered Norah up with a blanket; and we were in and off to see the animals.

Norah did not like seeing the animals. It's a drive-through safari, so the animals came right up to our car to check us out. Norah got kind of scared when the ostrich pecked at our window. She started barking and growling. And then, when the wolves smelled Norah, they thought she smelled like a snack and started howling! It was very exciting!!! Maybe if you come and visit me, we can go back to the safari...without Norah, of course.

Your trip sounds like so much fun! We should have a safari date sometime. I'll protect Norah from the animals.
