Checking Out the Damage

Mommy had a "girl thing" today, so Jack, Dad, and I had a "man's day". We did lots of fun things. Since the roads around town have been cleaned up, one of the things we did was head out to see the trees the storm knocked down.
This tree took out a fence and some of the roof.

Here's another view.

This is the street by one of the elementary schools.

We're not sure how this happened, but it looks like this tree fell under the car. Hum... Or maybe the roots of the fallen tree forced the truck up? We're not sure. Storms can do strange things.

And here's a picture of a broken tree by the Aquatic Center. It's where I had my swimming lessons last summer. I'm just glad the tree didn't break the water slide!

What a spring it's been here in Arkansas! We feel blessed that our family hasn't been hurt by any of the storms. We heard on the news that in Arkansas this spring (since January), 23 people have died in storm related accidents. Our hearts and prayers go out to their hurting families.
