Mom and Jack talk after resttime.

Before Jack took a rest, Mom swiped his mouth to see if he had any new teeth. Jack had been fussy all morning, and we were wondering what the deal was. No teeth were found, so Mom put Jack down in his crib, shut Jack's door, and read me a story in my room.
After his nap, Jack was still grouchy. Mom did the tooth check again. And, you guessed it, tooth number six arrived somewhere between the one o'clock and three o'clock hour this afternoon. Jack had lots to say about it. Here's Jack's talking face.

Jack kept talking. As I said, he had lots to say about the discomfort that tooth had caused.

Jack went on to tell Mom about how sad the incoming tooth made him feel. Here is Jack's sad face.

Jack's sad face always ends up turning into the hold me face. If Jack is sad, he wants to be held. Notice the outstretched arms. The arms reaching upwards always come with the hold me face.

Silly Jack! He really is the cutest, funnest brother ever! Even if he looks silly with two bottom teeth and four top teeth!

The "sad face" Jack looks just like little-boy-James to me! Too cute.
