During my nap this morning, I started crying really loud. Mommy came in to check on me and change my diaper (that's usually why I cry). She got started and realized that my cord was off!
Yeah!!! I can take a real bath now! Well, maybe... There's still a tiny bit of the cord attached to my belly button. Mommy has a call into the nurse to see if we have to wait until it's ALL off before we bathe. Oh, I hope I can take a bath today!!!

Birthdays should be celebrated!
However, here's the thing, Mommy's memory isn't as good as it used to be. She claims it's because of the two little monkeys she chases--I mean, plays with--all day. Anyway, Mommy has been forgetting birthdays right and left, so, if you are a relative, and if you want to make sure your birthday is celebrated on our blog, you might need to send Mommy a reminder email. Please send my forgetful Mommy an email a day or two prior to your birthday, and then maybe she'll remember to post. (She wishes she could promise, but those days are gone.)
And, if your birthday was one of the forgotten ones, please know it doesn't mean you are loved any less than the remembered people. It just means that something like a tornado or a diaper blow-out or a bird's nest in the back yard probably distracted Mommy.

Dear Jamey,
Congratulations on getting rid of the yucky cord. That's great that you are having five-outfit days. I had LOTS of five-outfit days when I was little. Mommy always put a lap pad under me when I slept because I peed through everything so much. Good job, little buddy!
