The Finished Painting

Mom finished her painting last night. This picture isn't the greatest, but it depicts the colors well.
Mom had a great time at painting class. Thanks to Grandma Lou for making it happen!

The Airport

Yesterday we had a fun adventure. Great-Mom-mom, Great-great-Aunt Dee, and first-cousin-three-times-removed Beth had a three-hour layover at the Denver airport. They were on their way home from visiting cousins in Kansas. Since we're super close to Denver and since we don't really see them all that often, we decided to head on up for a visit.
Those three ladies had ALL kinds of stuff in their bags especially for Jack and me. We snacked and visited the layover away. It was so much fun. We even got to ride a BUS to and from the parking lot and airport. Grandmas, buses, new trucks--I can't think of a better way to spend a day!

Thanks for spending your layover with us!

A fun and relaxing weekend...

Well, we've had a fun weekend. We started off our weekend with a fun surprise. Charlotte brought her family over for dinner! Imagine that! A friend from our hometown was in Colorado at the same time we were! Now Charlotte and her family know Grandma Lou and Grandpa Jere. We are so glad they put dinner with us on their itinerary.
The rest of our weekend has been spent playing outside and drawing inside. Jack and I have enjoyed the stickers Grandma Lou surprised us with. We've made lots of great pictures.
How was your weekend?

Pictures for Aunt Zona

Aunt Zona is Grandma Lou's sister. She lives in another state, but she happened to be driving through Colorado on the day Grandma Lou planted her summer flowers. The sisters decided to plant together. We've sure been enjoying their hard work!

Here are a few of the pots we enjoy while building sand roads in the sand table and swimming in the kiddie pool.

One pink pot, two white pots, and one purple pot. Single color pots have quite the impact!
A single pink pot.

Thanks to Grandma Lou and Aunt Zona for making our five weeks pretty!

Apple and Compassion

Yesterday we headed out to do some stuff. First stop: the Apple store.

Next stop: Compassion. We went to have lunch with Grandma Lou. She works there. After lunch we played some tag with a nice lady. Then Jack fell. Now he has a black eye. Still, he wants to go back to Compassion. That's how fun the place is!
