Yesterday we traded grandmas and headed to Colorado. We dropped Grandma Carolyn off at the airport and picked up Grandma Lou and Grandpa Jere. Grandma Lou and Grandpa Jere were more than kind enough to offer to make the long trek with us. Trading grandparents made it easier to say goodbye to Grandma Carolyn. We sure had a fun visit with her.

Packing
As if our summer hasn't been crazy enough, we're packing once again.
That's right! Tomorrow we're dropping Grandma Carolyn off at the airport before heading to Colorado for five weeks. Dad is going to make Denver his work-base this summer. Instead of taking his trips in and out of our airport, he'll use Grandma Lou and Grandpa Jere's airport. So, we're packing up and heading out!

1. Dry, cool, Colorado air. We practically die every summer from humidity here in Arkansas. Our western blood simply can't handle hot, wet air.
2. Spending time with Grandma Lou and Grandpa Jere.
3. Did we mention the dry air already?
4. Shorter trips for Dad because he'll be able to fly direct to most locations. Yippee for more time with our Dad!
5. And just to be sure you haven't missed anything, we're ready for dry air! Did you know that the dry air in Colorado will drop to a delightfully cool temperature somewhere around 50 degrees each and every night? We are speechless with excitement at the thought.
You are probably wondering if we'll be keeping up the blog while we're enjoying the dry air. Yes, we will! There are lots of adventures to be had in Colorado, and we're quite positive you'll want to hear all about them! :-)
Until then, we'll be telling one grandma goodbye before telling another grandma hello...
