We're Back!

We're home once again. We had a wonderful time in Seattle helping Auntie Julia graduate from college. There are lots of pictures to share, but first things first...LAUNDRY! My clothes are filthy! I think perhaps I may have had a bit too much fun making s'mores at our beach side bonfire...but more on that later.

Back in a bit...

Packing

I love packing. I gather up things to pack pretty much every time we head out the door--even if it's just for a quick errand. Today I packed a bag to take when I visit my aunties. Ava's mommy had somewhere to be, so Ava was at our house this morning. I told her to pack a bag, too. Turns out, packing is even more fun with friends!

Rainy Day Painting

"Look, Mom. I painted a tree!"

A Stormy Sunday

In the middle of the night last night, hail woke us up! The hail was marble sized and left a few dents in Dad's car. A few of our plants are missing leaves, but Mommy thinks they'll survive.
This morning we're still having lots of thunder storms. Dad and I headed out to the garage to check things out. We found lots of pea sized hail! I've never seen hail in the daytime before, and I think it's weird that the sky is raining ice.

New Things Learned

Yesterday we learned new things around our house...
Jack learned how to pull up to standing using his exersaucer.

And I learned that the ice cream truck sells ice cream. Yep, the ice cream truck was in front of our house when we got home from church yesterday evening. I was asking lots of questions about the "music van", so Mom and I headed out to the street to check it out. The picture of the push-up treats reminded Mommy of her childhood favorite ice cream truck treat. Before I could say "ice cream", I was eating a push-up! YUM!
